Many artists throughout history have experienced a love affair with flowers. It would be impossible not to, in truth. They contain all things art: color, shape, movement, texture, stages of growth, aroma and so much more. Flowers speak a language of beauty and imperfect perfection, of grace and nobility, of whimsy and play. They're gifts that can alter your world.
These floral pieces begin with original photographs which are then altered to tell the story the flower is trying to communicate. Some are simpler than others, some wildly romantic in finish. This is entirely up to the bloom being photographed. What each blossom seeks to reveal about its mystical inner life is captured in each finished work.
These pieces are printed on museum quality loose giclée canvas at larger sizes for impact and to release the musical quality of the petals. I want you to be able to "hear" what they have to say so that you can "speak in flowers." Canvas ships rolled and includes white cotton gloves and a certificate of authenticity. Each piece is signed within the art and has a white border surround.
